Geoffrey Marx, NC, is a certified Nutrition Consultant and Educator.
He is a graduate of Bauman College in Berkeley, CA, and holds a
Bachelor's Degree from San Francisco State University. He brings to
the HMF Board his experience with the National Association of
Nutrition Professionals where he currently serves on the Board of
Directors and as the editor of NANP's trade journal, the "Nutrition
Professional's Quarterly". Geoffrey sees clients with a wide range
of health issues in his private practice, which is based on
individual assessment, whole foods and conscious eating. His
interest in preventive health began at the age of 14 when his father
underwent coronary bypass surgery. This life-changing experience was
the catalyst for a commitment to understand the biochemistry and
psychology of illness and wellness, and a sense of mission to help
raise the collective health consciousness in our disease-promoting
culture. Geoffrey is passionate about working with people to help
them find optimal health and balance in their lives. |

Daryl Smith
For Daryl, the Health
Medicine Forum brings two important elements to health care:
education and a sense of community, where various disciplines contribute to health and wellness. From his background in mechanical
engineering he knows that every force has an equal and opposite
reaction.
"I believe each individual has the innate ability to be
healthy, and that wellness is a balance of spiritual, psychological
and physical forces. Understanding and awareness of
these forces is essential to bringing them into balance.
"I believe the health care crisis we find ourselves in today
is a result of the conflict of interest created by a for-profit
health care system. We need a more open and
honest discussion of health and wellness than the FDA, pharmaceutical
companies and the insurance companies are offering us. The Health
Medicine Forum is a critically important part of that discussion." |
